can't render inline images from the eml files...

Thanks guys, I really wanted this. And it works great (I use Linux GUI) The only thing I would add, if possible, is backing up of chats.

Using the gmial-backup GUI software for linux on OS/X platform and it is working fine with the built-in python version.

The only wish is to set this combination on the support list.

First off, this is an awesome tool. The Linux version is working fine via command line on my Mac. It would be nice to see Mac "officially supported" though.

I did once get a full backup, but that may well have been before installation of Offline. Now, cannot do any further saving. The above is trying to use the very latest version just downloaded and installed.

Using the WinXP version in a VMware virtual machine, but would switch to supported OS-X in a heartbeat.

There is no Mac OS X version :(

just open the gmail-backup-gui.sh file in a command line, like this:

./gmail-backup-gui.sh

and wallahhh

there you go

Linux command line works fine on OSX snow leopard. GUI appears to work too, loads fine but I haven't tested it just yet.

both command line and GUI works perfectly on my Mac OS X 10.6.5

I would love to have a Mac version of Gmail Backup. I have to borrow a friends' Windows computer if I want to transfer clients' emails from a Gmail account to a Google Apps account. Would gladly pay for it too!
