i Can`t restore my mails

hi i have donwloaded all emails to my hard drive and now when i want to restore its not happening, please help me out with this my gmail:ganesh.pgr@gmail.com.

Unable to restore

I did backup and confirmed presence (windows xp) on pc. Tried t restore to a different google apps account created. Appeared to be processing using GMAIL BACKUP screen but when I check actual account, nothing restored.

Please help

error restoring

Error: IMAP: APPEND command error: BAD ['Could not parse command']

What does this mean? Did the backup and then a restore to a Premier account. Really stuck here. Any suggestions?
