i can not see my restore gmail in my new gmail

i did the same and restore in new address but there is no email in my new gmail? what is the problem?

Does the new account already

Does the new account already have to have the same labels in it as the previous one? Or does Google Backup create these automagically?

Restored to a new Gmail account called XXX_Backup@gmail.com

Using Gmail Backup I downloaded all the emails from my completely filled Google Apps account onto my local hard disk. Then I created a new Gmail account specifically to hold the backedup emails. The restore command worked fine... but I cannot see any restored emails in my new XXX_Back@Gmail.com account.

IMAP is enabled.

Am I missing some step?

Restore only gets so far and disconnects

I'm attempting to copy just one folder from one gmail account to a new account. Since I can't do that, I did a full backup on the original account and attempted a restore to the new one, figuring I'd delete what I didn't want from the new account. The backup went fine, but when I did my restore (to new)I get about 32% transferred (4.6Mb) and it disconnects, tries to reconnect many times, and fails. This happens on multiple computers, all running XP.
